Our Spring Little Sprouts (ages 3-6) and Junior Farmers (ages 7-11) programs are booked individually by the class. Select the date(s) you'd like to enroll, follow the check-out process, and follow the link to our enrollment form upon completion.

Little Sprouts Preschool Enrichment Program
Ages: 3–6
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Spring Session: April 22nd-June 12th, 2026
Monday/Wednesday/Friday (Drop-in or Full Session)
Educational Focus:
Nurture your child's natural curiosity and connection with the land. Perfect for young explorers taking their first steps into the natural world.
Program Highlights:
- Gentle hands-on experiences with baby animals, building empathy and confidence
- Age-appropriate farm chores that develop motor skills and a sense of responsibility
- Creative nature-inspired crafts that spark imagination
- Sensory-rich gardening activities from planting to harvesting
- Guided nature exploration fostering wonder and discovery
- Playful games that weave learning with joy and movement
Make it a family adventure - One accompanying parent/guardian is warmly welcomed free of charge to join your Little Sprout for a morning of fun on the farm. Younger siblings (with registration and accompanying parent), are also welcome.
Junior Farmers After School Program
Ages: 7-11 years old
Schedule: 4:00pm-5:30pm
Spring Session: April 22nd-June 12th, , 2026
Monday/Wednesday/Friday (Drop-in or Full Session)
The Junior Farmers program invites young naturalists to deepen their understanding of farming, nature, and environmental stewardship through immersive, hands-on experiences. This year-round afterschool program challenges children to observe carefully, experiment thoughtfully, and contribute meaningfully to the farm and natural ecosystems they explore.
Program Highlights:
- Develop daily animal care routines - feeding, health monitoring, habitat maintenance, and seasonal care for chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep, and more
- Learn to figure things out through observation and experimentation - asking questions, testing ideas, keeping records, and drawing conclusions
- Engage in meaningful farm work with real tools - garden planning and maintenance, soil building, food preservation, and sustainable farming practices
- Explore wild spaces through wildlife tracking, plant identification, habitat mapping, and conservation projects
- Build practical skills in tool use, natural building, food preparation, and farm-centered crafts
- Take on leadership roles through peer teaching, project management, and mentoring opportunities
Educational Focus:
Junior Farmers fosters development through:
- Learning to ask questions and test ideas through real-world farming and nature exploration
- Developing responsibility and work ethic through consistent animal care and farm tasks
- Building environmental stewardship and understanding of sustainable systems
- Strengthening problem-solving abilities in practical contexts
- Deepening knowledge of food systems, ecology, and seasonal cycles
- Growing confidence through meaningful contributions
Through this year-round experience, Junior farmers helps children ages 7-11 develop the knowledge, skills, and values of environmental stewardship while building confidence, capability, and a lasting connection to the land, animals, and community.
