- Engage in meaningful farm work with real tools - garden planning and maintenance, soil building, food preservation, and sustainable farming practices
- Explore wild spaces through wildlife tracking, plant identification, habitat mapping, and conservation projects
- Build practical skills in tool use, natural building, food preparation, and farm-centered crafts
- Take on leadership roles through peer teaching, project management, and mentoring opportunities

Educational Focus:

Junior Farmers fosters development through:
- Learning to ask questions and test ideas through real-world farming and nature exploration
- Developing responsibility and work ethic through consistent animal care and farm tasks
- Building environmental stewardship and understanding of sustainable systems
- Strengthening problem-solving abilities in practical contexts
- Deepening knowledge of food systems, ecology, and seasonal cycles
